Medical Training at ERRSERRS medical programs are delivered with a network of professionals active and practicing as health care providers in Manitoba. The faculty for the Paramedic program is employed in rural and city EMS organizations and all have numerous years of experience as emergency responders and educators. The Canadian Medical Association provides accreditation for the Paramedic program. The final phase of accreditation was December 5-7, 2005 and the certificate was issued and effective February 2006. ERRS medical programs are tailored for the working student. Students are required to complete the greater part of the theory in a self-taught format with guided modules. Practical skills and labs are provided in structured class days. Certified Manitoba Doctors and Nurses deliver the ITLS and ACLS programs. Students receive certificates from the Manitoba Chapter of ITLS and the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation and both are recognized Internationally. We have added a full day of cardiac rhythm recognition to the ACLS program. |
